Allan Rivera

Originally from the Philippines, Allan Rivera moved to the United States in the early 1980s and has spent a lifetime refining his craft. Drawing since childhood, Allan’s passion for art began at a young age — he completed his very first portrait at just six years old. That early dedication became the foundation of a career rooted in precision, creativity, and mastery.

Allan specializes in high-detail realism portraits and Asian-inspired artwork, with a strong focus on intricate black and grey pieces. He thrives on challenging projects that push technical boundaries, especially those requiring extreme attention to detail and depth. His artistic inspiration comes from nature and the influence of old master painters, which is reflected in the timeless quality of his work.

Beyond tattooing, Allan is a highly skilled fine artist and craftsman. His abilities span oil painting, watercolor, ceramics, wood sculpting, and even bronze casting. His hands-on talent extends into the studio itself — Allan personally completed much of the custom remodeling throughout the shop.

Outside of work, Allan enjoys classic cars and spending time with his two bull terriers at the park or beach. A fun fact many people don’t expect: although often mistaken for Hispanic because of his last name, Allan is proudly Filipino.
