General Aftercare Tips:
Without Second Skin
Initial Care: Remove the bandage after 2-3 hours. Always wash your hands before touching your tattoo. Wash the tattoo gently with lukewarm water and mild, sent free antibacterial soap. Pat dry with a clean paper towel.
KEEP IT CLEAN!Moisturize: After 48 hours you can being applying a thin layer of fragrance-free, alcohol-free lotion or tattoo specific aftercare balm. Do this 2-3 times a day or whenever the tattoo feels dry.
Avoid Sun Exposure: Keep your tattoo out of direct sunlight for at least two weeks. Once healed, always use sunscreen to protect it.
No Submersion: Avoid swimming pools, hot tubs, bathtubs, and the ocean for two weeks until your tattoo is fully healed.
Wear Loose Clothing: Avoid tight clothing that might rub against your tattoo.
Using Second Skin:
Application: Leave the second skin on for 4 days. If it fills with fluid that's normal, you can remove it earlier only if the seal opens.
Removal: After 4 nights gently peel off the second skin. Wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and antibacterial soap, then pat dry with a paper towel.
Avoid Sun Exposure: Keep your tattoo out of direct sunlight for at least two weeks. Once healed, always use sunscreen to protect it.
