Felipe Morales

Felipe Morales is a 39-year-old tattoo artist from Los Angeles specializing in black and grey and American traditional tattooing. His passion for the craft was shaped by meeting and learning from artists he once looked up to, and by constantly surrounding himself with other driven creatives who continue to push him to work harder and grow.

American traditional is Felipe’s favorite style to tattoo, where bold lines, timeless imagery, and strong composition allow him to create powerful, classic pieces that stand the test of time.

Outside of tattooing, Felipe is also a painter, working in oil and exploring surrealism as another creative outlet. When he’s not creating, he enjoys spending time with his daughter, training in jiu jitsu, and heading out fishing whenever he can.

Something most people wouldn’t expect is that Felipe spent six years jumping out of airplanes while serving in the military, a chapter of his life that shaped the discipline, focus, and commitment he brings into everything he does today.
