Lloyd Marquez
Originally from Long Beach, Lloyd Marquez is a versatile tattoo artist specializing in anime, comic-style work, and American traditional. His artistic journey began early, drawing comics at just five years old and eventually publishing his own. That lifelong dedication to storytelling through art laid the foundation for his tattoo career and continues to influence his creative approach today.
Lloyd is driven by a constant desire to improve his craft. He finds inspiration in pushing his own limits, refining his technical skills, and evolving as an artist with every piece he creates. His favorite projects to work on are full-color animated designs and creepy, sketchy-style artwork where his imagination can run freely.
Outside of tattooing, Lloyd continues creating through his comics, working in both traditional pencil and ink on paper as well as digitally. When he’s not creating, he enjoys spending time with his family and diving into geek culture through movies, comics, and entertainment that fuels his creativity.
Something most clients wouldn’t expect is that Lloyd also played varsity football in high school, adding another layer to the discipline and drive he brings into his art today.
