Fun Fact: Growing up, one of Paul's biggest mentors was Eddie Elguera, who also happened to be his youth pastor. Eddie's influence played a significant role in shaping Paul's character, creativity, and passion for skateboarding
Born and raised in Redlands, California, Paul grew up immersed in skateboarding culture from the age of five. Like many skaters, he was heavily influenced by music, art, and creativity, which eventually led him to discover his passion for tattooing.
After starting out as a shop helper and completing a two-year apprenticeship, Paul has now been tattooing professionally for more than 13 years. Early in his career, his mentor encouraged him to learn every style of tattooing so he could confidently take on any project that came through the door. While he initially focused on color work, traditional tattoos, neo-traditional designs, and custom lettering, his passion eventually evolved toward black and grey tattooing.
Today, Paul is best known for his black and grey work, ranging from realism to traditional styles and everything in between. However, he still enjoys creating vibrant color pieces and appreciates the opportunity to work across a variety of artistic styles.
Outside the tattoo shop, Paul is a devoted father to two beautiful daughters, with another child on the way. Faith and family are at the center of his life, and when he's not tattooing, you'll likely find him spending time with his family, serving at church, participating in his men's group, boxing, working out, building and restoring furniture, or cooking on his smoker.
